Senior Food Distribution

Our food distribution takes place on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:00AM-12:00PM for economically challenged seniors. The distribution is sponsored by the Interfaith Foodbank and income limits can be attained by contacting the foodbank at (209) 267-9006‬.

Amador County Commission on Aging

The Commission on Aging meets at our center on the third Wednesday from 10:00AM-12:00PM and is open to the public. The commission seeks to respond to the concerns and needs of seniors in Amador County.

Caregiver Support Group

This group serves unpaid and non-professional caregivers looking for support and resourcing. Family and friends who are caring for aging loved ones meet the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10:30AM-12:00PM.

Parkinson’s Support Group

This group serves those suffering from Parkinson’s disease and the loved ones of those with the disease. Meetings are held at our center the third Monday of the month 9:30AM-11:30AM.

Connection & Recovery Support Group

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) holds a weekly support group for those challenged by mental illness on Thursdays at our center from 1:00PM-2:30PM. For more information contact NAMI (209) 223-1485 ext. 266.
