Foothill Fitness
Foothill Fitness is an exercise program for adults over 50 that aims at improving strength, balance, flexibility and maintaining functional fitness. Our program helps to reduce the risk of chronic disease and falls among older adults. The goal of Foothill Fitness is to promote an active lifestyle, improve quality of life and maximize independent living.
These classes are perfect for beginners to those who are already fit. At Foothill Fitness you will find a non-competitive, supportive environment. Exercises are led by volunteer trainers and are simple and fun. Most can be done while sitting in a chair if necessary.

Other Physical Fitness Classes
A variety of physical fitness classes are available below. Because our class offerings change all of the time, please contact our center for updated information, costs, or to ask any questions.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi includes a slow series of movements through deep focused breathing. It is a non-competitive, gentle exercise that involves stretching and physical exercise. The practice of Tai Chi is not strenuous but has the positive effects of reducing stress and increasing muscle strength, balance and flexibility.
Yoga Classes
Multiple yoga classes are offered during the week. Strength and flexibility are emphasized along with deep breathing to reduce stress and increase range of motion. You can find our yoga classes on our activity calendar. Classes are priced differently, so please contact the center for more information.
Klassy Kickers
Classes are designed to get you moving and your heart rate up through simple movement.
Dance Classes
We offer various dance classes during the week such as square dancing and hula dancing. No experience is necessary to participate. These classes are designed to create physical movement in a fun and enjoyable manner set to music.
