Welcome to the Amador Senior Center

The Amador Senior Center located in Jackson California is one of three multi-purpose building in the county of Amador. The Veterans’ Hall in Pioneer and the Margaret Dalton Childcare Center are both available to be and used by community groups.
The Amador Senior Center has a selection of meeting rooms, an auditorium and a fully equipped commercial kitchen available for use by both private and commercial business that require a county-certified kitchen. Please contact us for rental fees and availability

The Center is completely handicapped-accessible with four ADA-compliant parking spaces and over 50 regular parking spaces in the well-lighted lots.

The Amador Senior Center is also used for senior groups and activities during the daytime. Many of community groups use it during the evening and on weekends. Community meetings are accommodated during the day when space is available.

The mission of Amador County Senior Citizens Inc. is to support the independence and well being of older adults, ensure their dignity, enhance their self-respect, and promote their participation in all aspects of community life!

The board of Amador County Senior Citizens Inc., owners and operators of the Amador Senior Center are pleased to announce that Machellee Allison has been hired to be the next Executive Director of the Amador Senior Center. Longtime director, Laurie Webb will be spending the next few months with Machellee to make a smooth transition for her and the current staff and the Center.
